The modern room was spacious, clean, and had a partial view of the excellent castle ruins. Plus, being right next to the charming old town made exploring easy. Just a tad noisy outside at night, but totally worth it!

The hotel exudes a charming character with its good decor and a fine view of the castle from the rooms. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast with everything from cereals and cooked dishes to honey straight from the honeycomb. The restaurant created such a pleasant atmosphere that I found myself opting for dinner there almost every night!

We loved the historical setting of the hotel (situated among 13th century ruins), the huge bathroom, and the great breakfast.

Only the lack of English ability on the part of the hotel front desk staff. And a small matter -- despite the many TV channels on offer, only one offered English. The rest had Polish voice-over narration.

It was very nice to be able to spend the night in such a historical building. The location is excellent for exploring the old town. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel as a whole are to be emphasized. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was also very good, including the city's speciality: Thorn Gingerbread.
